Too Much Security On Website

I personally think there's too much security on the website which could cause people to not want to post. I certainly will not remember my password since it had to contain upper and lower case letters and also a non alpha/num character. I understand that spam is a problem with forums.

Security

I am just browsing ... looking for things I want to use in my development efforts.

I see this site. I want info.

A good way to see what I can and can't do is view the tutorials.

Hidden behind a login, I can't, and will therefore move on.

If you want people to see who/what you are or are capable of, they need to learn about you.

(Though I did take the trouble to create a login, I am moving on. It was my business to help people before I retired and it is hard for me to NOT help.)

You CAN'T be so valuable that you need to hide behind this security, or I would have known BEFORE I came here that I wanted to use your resources.

Some ones loss, but not mine.

And CAPTCHA again ... wow ... someone thinks they are important.

Thanks you for your comment, but as you said SPAM is a very big problem :/
There is more SPAMS than true user post so i have to block all that.
The team being small we don't have enough power to remove the security.

The other alternative will be that accounts will have to be validated by admins, so the security may be removed.

What do u think about that ?

I guess you still need the ability to post on the day you make an account, sot here needs to be a fine balance between security and freedom to post without hassles.
